What technology is used to print on t-shirts (and any fabric product)?

As opposed to others that use screen printing, we use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology to offer a wide variety of printable garments and design color options at an affordable price with an outstanding quality. The DTG ink in this process is different from the ink screen printers use. Our inks are water based and eco-friendly. This makes the feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts, but just as durable while also providing more vivid and vibrant colors! Please keep in mind that no printer is able to reproduce 100% of all RGB colors that we see on our smartphones or monitors.

Also in some rare occasions you may notice some discoloration or off white residue on your apparel. Do not worry! This is a special solution used for printing and can sometimes leave marks during the drying process. These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash cycle.

 

Embroidery products

The embroidered products that we offer are often stitched in satin stitch or tatami fill. Please bear in mind that this is not usual printing, this is embroidery, which means that small imperfections might occur in rare occasions and it is perfectly normal. But do not worry! Most do come out perfectly alright.

 

How to take care of the products?

In order for you to prolong the life of your custom print, we suggest following the care instructions below:

• Machine wash in cold water.
• Turn garment inside-out and wash on gentle cycle with mild detergent and with similar colors.
• Do not use fabric softeners.
• Tumble dry on low or hang-dry for the longest life.
• Iron inside-out if necessary, taking special care to not iron on the design.
• Do not dry clean.

Be wary of washing and drying on a high setting, especially when the garment is 100% cotton. High-temperature washes can fade and crack the print, and a high-temperature dryer settings can shrink the garment, as well as damage the print.

 

How durable are DTG printed shirts compared to Screen Printed shirts?
